Lebanese Collegiate Network (LCN) Announces Tax Exempt 501(c)3 Status
On November 5th, 2007 the Lebanese Collegiate Network (LCN) was officially recognized as a 501(c)3 by the United States Internal Revenue Services. 5 months after the conception of the idea and 2 months since its public launch, LCN is now a 501(c)3 non-profit California corporation with 11 prestigious University Lebanese Clubs as subscribing members, 3 excellence programs and 3 events planned and advertised.
A few of the 11 currently subscribed University Lebanese Clubs (ULCs) include UC Los Angeles, University of Maryland at College Park, UC Berkeley and Oakland University in Oakland, Michigan. Several ULCs had the opportunity to learn of the numerous benefits the LCN offers at their respective general meetings where LCN Board Members were present.
All contributions to the LCN are now tax-deductible. Please know that your generous donations will aid the LCN in its continued commitment to University Lebanese Clubs nationwide. With these donations, students will be able to benefit from programs offered by the Lebanese Collegiate Network, including an Academic Excellence Scholarship, Student Exchange Program, and discounted tickets to all LCN events. You can choose to direct your donations to the program of your liking at https://mylcn.org/sponsors/donate/.
When making a generous contribution, you will receive a written notification from the LCN Treasurer for your donation. This notification will provide you with sufficient documentation to receive a tax deduction. For more detail please contact the LCN Treasurer, Serge Haddad, at [email protected]secollegiatenetwork.org.
