Dear LCN Nation,
What a fantastic year it has been thus far! Your national board has been busy since our last update. We’re hosting luncheons, connecting with new members, and preparing for the 7th national convention. Our efforts have been more than mirrored across the country. Clubs, members, and alumni are hosting more events and fundraisers than ever before. The health of the LCN and the vibrancy of its membership has never been so bright.
Across the country, ULCs are applying their academic and professional skills to shine in their communities. Cedars of Lebanon at Virginia Tech kicked off their first large event this past fall. They were able to fundraise for their new ULC while also enriching Blacksburg with a community-wide culture show. Our Michigan ULCs have also been hard at work. This year the 4 established LSAs hosted their 2nd annual unified gala, attracting students from over 5 universities to the tune of 700 young members. Our SoCal and Bay-Area clubs continue to build and are hosting more events and unity-building events than ever before.
We feed off of your momentum. Every event I attend I am reenergized by the loyalty and dedication you have to your community. I can tell you that we are going to bring this energy to Harvard! The Harvard College Lebanese Club and the LCN have been working tirelessly to develop the best programming yet. We’re going to introduce quality workshops for students and alumni. We’re creating opportunities for you to meet and network with young Lebanese students and professionals from across the country. Through the career fair and expo, we’re showing off Boston’s strong Lebanese community. At the banquet dinner not only will we celebrate our award winners, but we’ll celebrate the entire LCN nation.
Tickets to Harvard are limited. Additionally, the LCN has grown and our alumni network has flourished, so demand to register has increased exponentially. If you want to join us this April, get your tickets now. You can find information for travel and accommodations on the website, mylcn.org/lcn14. If you need help fundraising, figuring out travel logistics, or anything at all please reach out to us at [email protected] Also, feel free to message anyone on the board. We’re eager to help you get to Cambridge and experience LCN14. Keep a look out on the LCN website, Facebook, and Twitter for an event near you.
Can’t wait to see all your club t-shirts!
